More funny biblical names

Following on from my post on best biblical names - I found a guy called Bunni the other day in Nehemiah 9.

Bunni. And he has a friend called Bani, and another one called Kanani.

Bunni, Bani and Kanani. There should definitely be a song about them. And people say those long lists of names are boring.

In other news, I'm getting married in five days!

Naughty figs

I like reading the King James Version of the Bible, but don't find it particularly more edifying, just more interesting from a linguistic perspective.

Take this verse from Jeremiah 24 for example:

2One basket had very good figs, even like the figs that are first ripe: and the other basket had very naughty figs, which could not be eaten, they were so bad.

3Then said the LORD unto me, What seest thou, Jeremiah? And I said, Figs; the good figs, very good; and the evil, very evil, that cannot be eaten, they are so evil.

Tsk tsk, naughty figs!

What will happen to Rover after the rapture?

If that is a question you've been nervously asking yourself then this is for you...

After the Rapture Pet Care!

For only $10 you can be sure that your beloved budgie will be well looked after when you've floated off into the sky.

I thought it was a joke at first but the website looks pretty bonafide (by which I mean they are honestly certifiably looney). I mean, only a real Christian would think it was witty and originial to make a letter 't' look like a cross in their logo.

And if you still think it's a joke read this.
